Dellana Cook has a Bachelor of Music degree with an emphasis in piano pedagogy from The University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the National Music Teachers Association and a current member of the Texas Music Teachers Association. Dellana is also the founding president and past-president of The Greater Dallas Group Music Teachers Association. She maintains a group piano studio in the Murphy, Plano, North Richardson, Sachse area. Dellana assisted in piloting an After- School piano program sponsored by the National Piano Foundation for the Richardson/North Dallas area. She also was instrumental in developing the Keyboard Ensemble Youth Symphony – KEYS – for students of teacher members of The Greater Dallas Group MTA. The KEYS festival completed it’s tenth year with over 160 students participating each year. Dellana has organized the Clavinova Festival in the Dallas area for the past 5 years. She was selected as “Teacher of The Year 1999 – 2000” by members of the Greater Dallas Group Music Teachers Association. Dellana is a certified teacher and instructor of the Mayron Cole Group Piano Method, a certified Pace Music Teacher, a certified teacher of Musikgarten.
